Below is the WW2 Pegasus " Winged Horse" Patch.
This is the insignia of the British Airbourne forces. It was designed in 1942 by Major Ewdard Seago and was chosen by Lieutenant General Sir Frederick "Boy" Browning when he was appointed to raise Airbourne Forces in 1941. It is worn on the sleeves of all Airbourne soldiers.
